Mennie strives to create the highest quality products, while investing in and researching new fabrics to ensure we reduce our environmental impact. As we investigate new materials, durability is a major priority as we make products which last and don't end up in landfill after a few weeks.
We manufacture globally with suppliers whose values of sustainability and accountability align with ours.
We require our suppliers to undertake independent, third-party social assessments to ensure fair wages, healthy working conditions, reasonable hours, and a safe work environment.

HIGH STANDARDS HEMP
Our first venture into Hemp, a material we have been interested in for years. Sourcing the correct manufacturer, whose practices met our standards and used the best GOTS Certified Organic Hemp and Cotton available took a lot longer than we expected, but it was worth the effort.
We strictly ship our products from the suppliers to our warehouse by sea, leaving a much smaller impact on our environment than the 'fast-fashion' favourite Air-freight.
The carbon footprint of airplanes is 20 to 30 times more than ships.
This sea shipping method does not affect our customers' orders. All products on our website are already in our warehouse, ready to be sent out.
A Real Dirt-Bag
All of our domestic orders are packaged in Home-Compostable, Biodegradable bags. Made partially from plants in a zero waste process by a Carbon Neutral company whose mission is to design out waste. BetterPackagingCo.
